HYROX training and gym classes: record the full load

Eightpace training guide · Reviewed by a certified HYROX trainer · 7 October 2026

Start with a complete plan

The programme should explain running, strength and stations before extra classes are added. A class is not automatically equivalent to a planned session because both involve hard work.

Record what happened

In Eightpace, add a class date, duration and effort. Notes can identify the focus, such as strength, mobility or conditioning. The calendar keeps that record alongside planned sessions.

Review the total

A hard class can add meaningful training demand. Recording it does not automatically reduce or replace another session. Bring the full week to a qualified review when the plan and classes compete for recovery or time.
